We have a comprehensive stock of violin, viola and ‘cello bows to compliment our selection of instruments, everything from an entry level violin bow at £20, through nickel mounted German workshop bows with brazilwood and pernambuco sticks, to silver and gold mounted bows by highly regarded makers of the past.

We commission new European bows from renowned English, German, French, Swiss and Belgian makers and we have some fine older English examples from the workshops of Messrs W. E. Hill and Sons. Choosing a bow is a highly personal matter. Subtle differences of weight and balance contribute to making a good partnership between player, instrument and bow.

Instruments and bows may be tried in our playing room and full approval facilities are available. We ask that before visiting us you ring first to discuss your requirements.
